It’s more than just home to Santa Claus...the North Pole is a very special place located on top of the world! Here are some fun facts you may not have known about this truly magnetic location:


Did you know??
• The North Pole is located in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. There is no land there, but the area is almost permanently covered with sea ice.
• There are actually TWO north poles: the geographic North Pole and a magnetic North Pole. The geographic North Pole is the northernmost point on the planet. The magnetic north is the magnetic field that compasses point toward, and believe it or not, it’s always moving!
• The direct opposite of the North Pole, is the South Pole, located in the Antarctic.
• From the North Pole, all directions point south.
