Nuts

Nuts no longer have the bad rep they used to of being a high fat high calorie snack. In fact nuts are now recognized for their good quality fats they provide to the body. Its not just any nuts though, so don’t go digging into that jar of peanut butter just yet. Almonds and walnuts are the best to have. Have an apple with some almond butter and you have yourself a super tasty and delicious snack before a workout that will give you a lot of energy. Do be careful though not to eat a whole bag, just a handful should be enough.
