There are just 34 movies that have grossed more than $1 billion at the box office. In this post, I want to let you guys know all about the #BillionDollarCarClub, so you can learn all about the most famous cars in the world.
Whether you’re interested in Mazda SUV leasing, or you’re simply a car enthusiast, it’s always fun to learn about the most recognizable cars around the globe.
You probably remember one of the most famous scenes in Titanic, when Jack and Rose are in the car together, right? Well that car is the 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe de Ville. In 2003, a near twin of this car was sold at Auction for $269,500. If the original is ever recovered and restored, it woud be worth millions of dollars.
However, Hollywood’s highest earner is the Jurassic Jeep from the movie Jurassic Park. This car earned $200,940,000. Wow. This car is so popular that there are thousands of Americans in the Jurassic Motor Pool- a fan club where jeep owners carefully modify and paint their jeeps to replicate the famous Jurassic Jeep.
If you’re thinking about doing the same thing, keep in mind that although Jeeps aren’t cheap, they have good resale values.
You probably also remember the DeLorean which was a staple in Back to the Future Part 1, 2, and 3. If you loved Transformers: Age of Extinction, you probably also crushed on the bright yellow Chevrolet Camaro. Personally, my favorite is the Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, followed by the Dodge Charger from Fast & Futurious 7- simply because I love the whole series.
The cars from the 34 movies that made more than $1 billion have a total share of $765,731,700 of the box office. Now that’s impressive.
