Life Hacks for the Life of a Motorcyclist

Being a motorcycle enthusiast is a way of life. It’s a lifestyle that transcends basic transportation. With that in mind, if you are serious about making bike riding an integral part of your world, you will probably want to use some life hacks to make things that much better.

Some of these may require you to buy motorcycle parts online for best convenience.

Baby Wipes

Keeping your bike clean can be a monumental undertaking, especially if you like to go off-roading. There are so many exposed parts and components, it may feel like you won’t be able to clean everything in detail. Fortunately, there is a simple solution: baby wipes. These handy cloths can be work miracles when you need to clean delicate Kawasaki motorcycle parts or other high-quality brand parts.. They also make a great cleaning solution for when you’re out on the road. If your helmet gets dirty, you can easily do a spot-clean with wipes.

Kickstand Protocol

When it comes to parking your bike, you may be using a stock kickstand, which is fine. But what about when you have to park on soft terrain like grass? You can order new motorcycle parts online, including a wider stand, or you can use whatever’s available, such as a glove or puck to spread out the surface area and prevent your bike from falling.

Foggy Helmets

If you spend a lot of time riding, then you know how annoying and dangerous a fogged-up helmet can be. If you want a permanent solution, you can get a motorcycle upgrade and install a pin lock visor that won’t fog. Otherwise, if you want a fast and easy solution, put soap and water on your screen, let it dry, and then buff it out. The solution should keep you from fogging for about a week at a time.

Clean Helmet

Many riders will store dirty gloves inside of their helmets when they’re not using them. Unfortunately, this means that bacteria can grow inside your helmet, which will leave a smelly and potentially harmful residue. Don’t keep your gloves in your helmet, and wash your helmet out every month or so to keep it clean. You will notice the difference.
